The studio
Less drawing, more building
There are four of us. We work from a ground floor on Rua do Souto in Braga and go to site every week, because that is where projects get decided.
We make houses for people who will live in them, renovations of buildings that deserve to stay standing and, now and then, a small public facility. We don't do towers or gated developments.
Every project starts with a site visit and a long conversation. We design with models before we design with the computer. We follow the works to the last day and come back a year later to see how the house is being lived in.
